Submit a Proposal
Workshops (Duration: half or full day submissions accepted)
Workshops are hands-on sessions that focus on current and future trends in medicine, biomedical engineering, and technology development in health care. They may be delivered by a group of leading researchers and pioneers in their respective areas. Workshops are expected to be a classroom experience with hands-on learning and networking.
Important regarding workshops:
- Workshop organizers and speakers are expected to attend and facilitate the workshop themselves and provide any required materials.
- Workshop organizers are encouraged to promote their scheduled workshop and to actively engage with the society in promotional efforts for the workshop.
- A recommendation of 3-6 speakers should be included to facilitate the workshop
- Workshop speakers/teachers and registrants are required to pay all travel costs
Your proposal should be entered or copy-pasted directly into the system and include the following information:
- Title: Provide a title for your pre-conference workshop
Summary: Provide a brief description of no more than 200 words intended for publication that will allow conference attendees to understand the topic and the focus. - Rationale: Please explain why the topic is novel and relevant to the NER community.
- Duration: Indicate if it is a half-day or full-day workshop.
- Contact information for proposer(s): Include name, affiliation, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Speaker info: Please include the title of each speaker’s talk, their full name, affiliation & email address.
- Please confirm that all speakers have agreed to be present at the workshop.
- Authors should obtain any necessary company and governmental clearance before submission of proposals, if relevant.
- All speakers must have a paid registration for the NER program.
- Workshop speakers are not expected to submit a paper with the proposal.
